Claude's models can now live inside your data. The company just released the "Model Context Protocol," which they're saying is a new standard for connecting AI assistants to the systems where data lives.
If you're a developer working with AI models, this should save you the trouble of having to write a bunch of custom code to get the AI to interface with all the data in your Slack chats, your Google Drive documents, your GitHub repos, your Postgres database, etc.

Damn... How do you keep up with the kind progress we see coming out of Claude / OpenAI, when new feature announcements can kill entire business models over night?
