Google Maps Platform expanding free usage limits. Currently, developers receive a regular monthly credit of $200. Starting March 1, 2025, the Google Maps Platform will provide "up to $3,250 worth of free usage every month" across the Maps, Routes, Places, and Environment APIs or SDKs.

You'll only pay if you exceed these limits.
