I invested 5 min per day for a month into my faceless YouTube channel [results]

First, I've never thought I would start a YouTube channel.

However, there are so many new AI tools that can generate entire videos coming up that have led to this test.

I decided I would start a new channel from scratch posting 1-2 shorts per day for a month to see if it's worth it.

In the beginning, I had to force myself to be accountable and generate and publish a video every day, but later I started enjoying the whole process. It became my hobby!

I randomly selected a niche topic - Dinosaurs.

I think you need to choose a fact-based topic with educational & entertaining content. Also, it's easier for AI to generate dinosaurs than real people.

I'm sharing my results from the last month below:

  • 42 videos published
  • 372 new subscribers
  • 80.3K views
  • 625.4 hours of watch time
  • 2.1K likes (190 dislikes)

How many chose to view?
60% viewed vs 40% swiped away

Top 5 Shorts
Dinosaur Eggs: Giants From Tiny Shells - 8.6K views
Dino poop were bigger than YOU! - 7.3K views
Stegosaurus vs. T-Rex: Who Wins? - 5.2K views
Dinosaurs vs. Modern Animals: Who Would Win? - 4.8K views
T. Rex Teeth were BIG as Bananas! - 4.7K views

As a first-time "YouTuber", I have no idea if these are good or bad numbers.

What do you think? Should I continue?

Thanks for boosting up my confidence. I'm wondering that shall i start the faceless youtube channel and that make impact on the viewers.

Would you suggest me the tools for video creation?

    Thanks in advance!

Try https://hypershorts.com I think he mentioned he is using it in another post.

Well, people are obviously watching it. That's good news. Still hard to monetize unless you take this game seriously.

I did a quick research and went with Shortsfaceless.com. Mostly because they suggest video ideas that make the whole process very convenient and time-saving. It has YT integration too so I can publish straight from their platform.

@ctw thanks for sharing the insights. I was exploring the possibility of doing a Faceless Youtube channel as well day before yesterday and the timing of the post couldn't have been any better.

I like the video titles since it peaks the curiosity of the viewers. Hope you wouldn't mind answering a few questions

    1. What tools did you use for the videos?
    2. Are the videos Youtube videos or Shorts?
    3. Did you opt in for Ad revenue? If yes, could you share the results?
    1. 4

Thank you! Yes, more bizarre/controversial titles usually mean more views 🤷‍♂️

      To your questions:

      1. I only use one tool - Shortsfaceless. It generated everything video ideas, scripts, images, voiceovers, captions...
      2. Only Shorts. It can generate up to 1-minute long videos. I would like to explore a combination of shorts + longer videos in the future.
      3. I can't apply for monetization yet. You need to hit certain milestones first - 500 subscribers, 3000 watch hours, or 3M Shorts views. For me, it's just a fun project for now 🙂

      Good luck with your channel!

Piques. It piques your interest. I'm sharing this because I remember when I learned it and I thought, "huh. Really? I never knew..."

  4. 3

Nice! What tools did you use to generate the videos?

    1. 1

I use Shortsfaceless.com. I like they generate video ideas for you + I find it the best value for money. I paid like $19 for 30 videos.

  5. 2

I am also posting to YouTube consistently now... but I have started just now!

    1. 1

What type of content do you post? Shorts or longer videos?

      1. 2

I have recorded long podcasts, and I have shorts on game content. So, plans to post game content!

  6. 1

Nice! Do you plan to create long videos as well? Could help monetize the channel faster 🤔

    1. 1

Yes, that's what I want to test now :)

      1. 1

Awesome, wishing you the very best!
Looking forward to the results 👀
