Text-to-video AI models are gaining traction. 2023 was the year of text-to-text AI models. 2024 appears to be the year of their text-to-video counterparts. PyramidFlow just launched a new text-to-video AI model that can produce 5- to 10-second videos at 768p resolution and 24 frames per second. A few days ago, we reported on Meta also launching a text-to-video AI model.

I‘ve already heard/seen people already making profit by having AI generate text scripts and converting to video, and then uploading to youtube/tiktok. I wonder if these new text-to-video AI models are automating or making this flow easier?

My point, Text-to-video AI models are an exciting development. The ability to generate videos from simple text inputs opens up new creative possibilities, especially in content creation and marketing. It’s fascinating to see how this tech is evolving, but I’m curious about the ethical implications and potential challenges with authenticity.
